All information should be available to anyone at any point in time, in whatever requested format and in whichever language.
Tedopres Model
End users demand high-quality products, and therefore expect technical information to be directly available and crystal clear. Moreover, product development schedules are increasingly becoming shorter, thereby increasing the pressure on technical publication staff even more due to the time to market. Despite these issues, budgets to support technical publications are shrinking. In response thereto, organizations are focusing on creating technical information more efficiently.
Questions to consider in this regard:
- How easy is it for your product users to find product information?
- How well do your product users understand your information?
- Do you enable your product users to perform MRO (maintenance, repair, operation) activities efficiently, i.o.w. in a cost and time effective way?
